Update - 0.1.2


New Region

  • An ancient structure, built by an unknown civilization for an unknown purpose. Now falling to ruins, you will need to locate a hidden passage to make it through. There are two exits to this region, which in future updates will lead to different areas.


Save System Changes

  • Saving is now only available in specific areas, to prevent excessive save-scumming. This is an important step towards balancing the game. Your input is very helpful for adjusting the difficulty, so don't be afraid to leave a comment.


Other Changes

  • The system that handles battles has been changed, which should reduce randomly rolling multiple battles in a row.
  • A number of typos and edge cases have been fixed.


Future Plans

  • Traps: a new type of encounter that can occur instead of a battle
  • More regions continuing the theme of the ancient civilization
  • Hidden collectibles
  • Internal changes that will make creating new updates easier



As usual, expect bugs and typos in the new portions of the game. Let me know if you encounter any so I can fix them ASAP.

PS.
I don't know if previous saves will work in this version. If you encounter any issues with old saves you will have to start fresh.
